A short form of names ending in -nina. Nina means "enclosure of fish" in Babylonian, and "fire" in Quechua. Furthermore, niña means "little girl" in Spanish. Nina was one of the ships used by Christopher Columbus on his first voyage across the Atlantic Ocean.
